How To Make Coconut Cannabis Oil With The Magical Butter Machine (Watch!)
You’ve heard about it, perhaps tried it yourself, and the reason is that cannabis edibles like coconut cannabis oil have become popular not only for the “high” but the potential health effects as well. Take a look.
The cannabis plant has dozens of cannabinoids, and all contain the two most known – THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol).
THC will get you high. CBD might get you well, depending on what ails you. The potential to heal what ails you is the reason that — with the advent of widespread legality – interest in CBD has grown to a fevered pitch.
Watch how my friend Debs (someone who has suffered from several autoimmune diseases for decades) makes her coconut cannabis oil using the “Magic Butter Machine”:
The concept of “medical marijuana” can only exist because of the CBD content and a spate of studies that have examined its usefulness in ameliorating various chronic diseases.
Consider these medicinal properties of CBD and their effects, as reported by Leafscience.com:
Medical Properties of CBD | Effects |
Antiemetic | Reduces nausea and vomiting |
Anticonvulsant | Suppresses seizure activity |
Antipsychotic | Combats psychosis disorders |
Anti-inflammatory | Combats inflammatory disorders |
Anti-oxidant | Combats neurodegenerative disorders |
Anti-tumoral/Anti-cancer | Combats tumor and cancer cells |
Anxiolytic/Anti-depressant | Combats anxiety and depression disorders |
The potential of CBDs’ usefulness to combat illness as incentivized growers to cultivate cannabis strains that are high in CBD and low in THC so that people you suffer various health conditions can use it regularly without the psychoactive effects.

Caution!
If you’re new to cannabis edibles, do yourself a favor and consume less of it than you might want. You can always take more the next time around.
Yes, it’s time to make this freely available to the masses. Yes for CBD, yes for healing, may need to be regulated, but that’s up to the debate right.
Awesome, keep up the good work!
I watched your video with you and Deb making CBD oil. I followed your direction. I used 2 cups of GNC organic extra virgin coconut oil and 1&1/2 oz of cannabis. I woke this morning and it was all crystalized. Might you know why? And any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Ron
Hi Ron. Coconut oil, like any saturated fat, will become solidified under certain temperatures, but have no idea about the crystallization you mentioned. Might want to google it and see if anyone has had that experience.
Hi,I hope you get this asap, as I am ready to go… She didn’t give what the temperture setting is? , the maching says to set temp then time, you see her only set the time?
Carrie, I don’t have access to the machine or instructions. Would be odd if the instructions didn’t mention the right temperature, unless the temperature is automatically set once the type of medium is selected (coconut oil, olive oil, etc.) Try googling it.
HI Does Deb have any recipes for the cannabis oil that she made? I have a magic butter machine and just made my 1st batch of CBD oil. Its hard to find recipes with it as most ask for cannabis butter. Thanks Cynthia in New Brunswick Canada
Cynthia, after the experiment w/ the batch of cannabis-infused coconut oil made in the “butter machine”, Deb began to use already-made infusions that we in California can legally purchase. Neither of us have novel recipes or an expertise re cannabis. I did a quick search and found recipes for many foods, drinks and rubs: https://magicalbutter.com/recipes
