Get Your DNA Tested For An Unbelievably Low Price!

UPDATE: If you haven’t heard, know that 23andMe got into a tussle with the FDA about offering their health-related genetic reports to the public, and are now only providing  ancestry-related genetic reports and raw genetic data.  Thus, some of what’s reported below is outdated. Go to their website to learn more.

……………………………………..…

Getting close up and personal with your DNA has never been cheaper. You can now get the test for $99, which is $200 less than a week ago, and thousands less than just a few years ago. Find out about your ancestry, and why you are the way you are, before the price goes up. (It also makes for a great gift!)

Find out where your family came from. Which might explain why you are the way you are.

GIVEN THE characters in the picture above, you’d think this would be a Halloween promotion.

But, no, the gift-giving season is Christmas, Hanukkah, et al, and it’s now that 23andMe is offering a whopping 1/3rd off discount on their original price of $299 for their DNA test.

Yeah, that’s not a misprint. The price now is $99.

It’s not clear to me how long it offer will last, but I’m assuming it will last through the Holidays.

Dear Joe, is there a ticking clock on this offer? Will it last indefinitely? If there is some sort of deadline I sure would like to know about it in the headline or sub head. And I might want to have some of the pain points of not acting quickly brought to my attention….” if you wait too long this offer will end and you’ll never know [important thing you can learn from genetic testing]

Doggus, as I wrote in the post, a deadline wasn’t mentioned in the promo material from 23andMe; could be, though, that it’s a Christmas Special given the timing of the discount. Thanks for the marketing tips!
