Parents Wait

IN KEEPING with the prevailing medical advice about risk factors of H1N1 Swine Flu, and presenting a good example to the nation, the Obama girls got vaccinated, but their parents did not.
President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will wait to get their flu shot until after “priority groups” have received there’s. This is to say that the medical establishment has assessed the greatest vulnerability to contracting and being harmed by H1N1 to be young people under 24, pregnant women and people with underlying illnesses.
Undoubtedly, the White House is trying to set a good example amid widespread concerns about the vaccine’s safety. Sharing the news that the president has allowed his daughters to receive the shots could ease the fears of Americans who are still in doubt about whether to get vaccinated.
