MY PEN has been silenced by a longer than anticipated during my two-week trip to the family Washington state homestead in the woods.
Lots of digging, pulling, cutting, stone carrying, sweat and mud. Seems like there’s no energy left to conceive a post of any merit.
Have a few days to go, and will not reluctantly return home to my perch above Richardson Bay.
“Out through the fields and the woods
And over the walls I have wended;
I have climbed the hills of view
And looked at the world, and descended;
I have come by the highway home,
And lo, it is ended.”
